27 Jul Hot Dog Business
While walking around the city in the summer, you just can’t help but notice the hot dogs stands on the street. The smell of cooked hot dogs with onions, relish and ketchup will surely make your mouth water. From a business standpoint, I always wonder how much these hot dog vendors make in a day so I asked a few of them. One of them told me that they can sometimes make up to $800-900 a day on a very busy weekend but generally, make between $300-400 a day. Having a great location was the biggest success factor for them. If you take into account the costs which are usually only 1/3 then it can be a nice small business. Of course, trading for yourself is the best small business in the world.
