06 Jun Sell in May, Go Away!
This is a popular saying in the stock market, but what does this mean. It means that you should generally stay away from the stock markets in the summer. Many reports have shown that the majority of a stock market’s gains are usually achieved between October until April. This makes some sense because people generally take time off in the summer to relax and travel. As a result, if there is a lack of buyers then it doesn’t generally bode well for the markets.
